Ethical Guidelines

  1. Confidentiality
We follow all confidentiality rules and take care to protect our clients' privacy.
  2. Competence
As Mental Coaches, we offer practical mental tools from the Lyng Method without using our own theories or opinions. Our focus is on helping clients move forward and achieve their goals, rather than dwelling on the past.
  3. Professionalism
We avoid conflicts of interest and do not use any information from client relationships for personal gain. We keep our personal issues separate from our work and maintain a high standard of professionalism in everything we do.
  4. Relationships
We avoid forming personal or financial relationships with clients while we are working with them, to ensure we remain professional and objective at all times.
  5. Dignity and Integrity
We stay neutral when it comes to beliefs, gender, religion, and politics. In the Lyng Method, we do not talk about our personal opinions and avoid using disrespectful language or making judgmental jokes.
  6. Self-Care and Boundaries
We respect working hours and take responsibility for our own well-being. If needed, we seek help and address any concerns or complaints directly with management.
  7. Finances
We are paid for specific tasks such as teaching, outreach sales, and client sessions. Any voluntary work is not financially compensated. We do not earn money from others' work; compensation is only given for the sale of our own programs.
  8. Medical Treatment
We respect our clients' decisions about medication and other treatments and do not interfere with their choices in this area.
